Even while stuck at home, it’s important to keep moving. However, you may not know where to start and — most importantly — how to avoid an injury.
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach Coordinator TJ Mack demonstrates a series of exercises that you can do at home.
“Our goal is to keep you active,” he said.
All ages can perform these low-key but effective exercises at home. The only equipment needed is a chair with a back. If you own equipment like free weights, you can use those. You can also substitute household items for weights, such as canned food or gallon water jugs.
Always remember to warm up at the start of a workout and finish with a cool down and stretch.
