Five spice London broil
Meal: Supper; Portion Size: 4 ounces;
Ingredients
2 pounds beef, flank steak
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparation
- Trim steak from all visible fat. Coat with non stick pan spray.
- Combine five spices and divide evenly over steak.
- Sear the steak on a flat top grill or char broiler and cook until an internal temperature of 145 F is reached.
- Slice thinly, at an angle, across the grain. Portion four ounces onto serving dish. Hold hot for service.
